Nathacha Bien-Aime is an associate in our Miami, Florida office practicing in the first-party property litigation department. Ms. Bien-Aime is a proud Haitian American that grew up in Miami, Florida. Ms. Bien-Aime is bilingual in both English and Haitian Creole. For undergrad, Ms. Bien-Aime attended Florida State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Political Philosophy. For law school, Ms. Bien-Aime attended St. Thomas University School of Law where she was the President of the Black Law Student Association, a member of the Student Bar Association, and a published member of the St. Thomas Journal of Complex Litigation.

 

Ms. Bien-Aime was admitted to the Florida Bar in April 2019. After law school, Ms. Bien-Aime worked as an assistant public defender at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office of the 11th Judicial Circuit where she zealously advocated and represented hundreds of clients in both the Juvenile Division and the Felony Division. During her time at the public defender's office Ms. Bien-Aime gained trial experience and handled hundreds of cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies. Ms. Bien-Aime is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She has been a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated since 2019. Ms. Bien-Aime first gained experience working in first party property during her time in law school while interning for a first party property law firm. Then after leaving the public defender’s office, Ms. Bien-Aime returned to the area of first party property. Ms. Bien-Aime has represented insureds against the largest insurance companies in Florida and has settled over $500,000 in settlement funds.
