Attorney Christian Lexima earned his law degree at the historically black, Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law. He is a current member of the Florida Bar Association, the Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division, as well as a past member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Christian moved with his family to Palm Beach County, Florida in December 2000. The child of two successful immigrant entrepreneurs, Christian naturally gravitated towards the business field while attending the University of Central Florida and graduating with his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Entrepreneurship with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida (UCF).

Christian’s past professional experiences include working as a paralegal for the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc. (LASPBC) from 2013 through the summer of 2015, when he left to attend law school. During that time, he gained experience in different programs such as Immigration, Fair Housing, and the Navigator Program- the latter was founded under the Affordable Care Act to assist individuals in better understanding the law related to the then new Act.

While at UCF, Christian was a member of the largest professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity, Inc., as well as many other organizations on campus, including the Caribbean Student Association and Club Kreyol, where he held several leadership roles. At FAMU College of Law, Christian was selected as a Student Governor for the Florida Bar’s Young Lawyer Division (“YLD”), Law Student Division (“LSD”), serving as a liaison between his law school and the Young Lawyer Division attorneys, alongside other Student Governors representing each law school in the State of Florida. While serving as a Student Governor, FAMU’s chapter was recognized as “Chapter of the Year” during the 2017 Annual Florida Bar Convention in Boca Raton in June 2017. All 12 Florida law schools with an active YLD chapter were considered for the honor. Christian was named Governor of the Year for the YLD Law Student Division.

After graduating law school, Christian returned to the LASPBC to serve the community of Palm Beach County, this time as an attorney with the Neighborhood Entrepreneurial Law Project. Upon his return, this program had just launched in order to provide legal help to individuals in their entrepreneurial endeavors.

Christian is fluent in Haitian Creole and French. He is a zealous advocate who strives to establish professional attorney-client relationships founded upon trust and communication. He is detail-oriented and specializes in managing files to assure maximum recovery is obtained. When he is not in the office, Christian spends his free time practicing yoga, cycling the scenic routes of South Florida on his road bike, bodybuilding and exploring new music through DJing.
